@eflynt You have a core of young veterans that haven’t worked out. Now you have a core of second year players that needs development. Normal 18 19 20 year olds don’t contribute to winning. Shai has previously won a championship with his core. Pels barely sniffed the play in. No comp
@eflynt I understand the point of the post but the current front office has put themselves in this position where we have to question the two timeline approach. Is there one situation in the league where that has worked? IDK but I know after one season it’s not working here.
Trey Murphy III has reportedly signaled a desire to play elsewhere, per @sam_amick
“There is definitely a bunch of Trey Murphy noise. It seems pretty clear that he has also signaled a desire to play elsewhere. The market is going to be pretty robust…[The] Brooklyn [Nets] and the [Los Angeles] Clippers were mentioned as teams that were out front in that race, but I think the list is very long. I think that Detroit comes to mind. [With] Boston, actually, Trey is seen as a potential plan B for them if they miss out on Giannis, which they obviously did. So, Trey is going to have a lot of suitors, and I think that could be a draft-night deal.”
