Once Europe's largest inland dock, Preston Docklands make a peaceful stroll and day out.

With plenty of places to visit and a selection of nearby eateries, the docks make a great day out for visitors of all ages.

Preston Docks also boast many facilities and things to do!

However, final names will only be chosen when the respective councillors are elected in 2027, so there is time for these concerns to be ironed out.

Naming concerns:

'South Lancashire' = middle of geographic Lancashire
'North Lancashire' = 26% Yorkshire
'Pennine Lancashire' = 8% Yorkshire

Once its sails turned above the fields of Bickerstaffe. Today, the 18th century windmill tower has a second life as a home.

Its sails may be gone, but sturdy brick walls and conical roof still tell the story of rural Lancashire.
