MLB's No. 72 prospect (@Rockies) belts his 5th HR in the past 10 games for the Triple-A @ABQTopes:
1/ After dealing with a hack, I have some time to discuss my thoughts on the severe weather event tomorrow. A robust severe weather outbreak is likely across portions of the Midwest. However, some elements make this forecast unclear. What are those elements?
@JayLesykWX I find this funny because I see so many people say don't chase this day bc this or this and the person saying it falls squarely into the category of someone who has no idea what they are doing.

I think the most dangerous phrase in any organization is “that's how we've always done it.” That's probably killed more companies than any competitor ever has.
We are seeing an increasing number of people traveling to the area to observe the Downtown sinkhole. For your safety, please avoid the area.
Pedestrian access is being restricted in portions of the area to support ongoing operations. Please follow directions from officers and emergency personnel. #SLMPD
The risk of severe thunderstorms is increasing for Wednesday across the St. Louis region.
This is still several days away, so the details will change. But the overall setup has our attention.
A strong storm system will move through the Midwest Wednesday with very strong winds aloft, increasing moisture, and a cold front moving into the region. If we have enough instability during the day, the atmosphere will support organized severe thunderstorms.
The main threats:
• Damaging wind gusts
• A few tornadoes
• Large hail
• Heavy rain/localized flooding
Storms could begin as scattered cells or clusters, then potentially grow into a larger line of storms Wednesday evening or Wednesday night. That would increase the damaging wind threat.
The big question right now is instability. Some data shows enough warm, humid air for a more significant severe weather threat. Other data is less aggressive. That will be the difference between a low-end event and a more robust severe weather setup.
Bottom line: Wednesday is a day to watch closely.
This is not a reason to be overly concerned. It is a reason to pay attention for future updates and consider your plans for Wednesday evening. Now is also a good time to make sure you have multiple ways to receive warnings and never rely on outdoor warning sirens

#SLMPD officers are working with MODOT and the Streets Department to close eastbound I-70 at Tucker until further notice due to a large sinkhole under the interstate. Eastbound I-44 will also be closed and traffic will be redirected onto the Poplar Street Bridge.
If you’re traveling westbound on the Poplar Street Bridge, you will not be able to exit at Walnut.
Please use alternate routes. We will share additional updates as soon as possible.
