Every Filipino, including the faithfuls of Iglesia Ni Cristo, has the right to protest. But the rest of us also have the right to ask: why would a religious organization stand in defense of someone who has admitted to receiving large sums of money from private individuals while serving as a public official? On his own, and unprovoked, Senator Marcoleta has publicly and personally admitted to it. No faith, whatever the religion may be, should be used to shield corruption or place anyone above accountability and the rule of law.
The Ateneo townhall on June 16 was raw, heavy, and deeply necessary. 3 basketball players took the floor, detailing the scenes and their "chicken encounter" with Rene.
Meanwhile, Ateneo president Fr. Bobby’s responses showed a glaring lack of appreciation for the bigger picture. It's 2026, yet leadership ignored how social media can be a tool for truth, transparency, and humanity.
Instead, they were forced to face their own community, in flesh and blood, as pent-up emotions were laid bare.
In this thread, I share my notes so I will not forget — the details, the lessons, the stories.

PH has its first trillionaire!
Enrique Razon Jr worth Php1.1 trillion.
Average minimum wage earner needs to work 7,679 years to earn that much -- basically working from 5,600 BC, when we were still late Stone Age "Philippines" hunter-gatherers and foragers, to today.
Senate media beat proving that in the hardest of times it would always be the journalists to show up on the frontlines. Not vloggers, not influencers, not online commentators. Nothing but the highest respect to our hardworking colleagues.
All this chaos.
Just to protect the Dutertes and their allies.
The country has sacrificed too much—our institutions, our democracy, and far too many lives—for the survival of people who believe they are above accountability.
Patay tayo nyan! ☠️

I have been getting spammed for the last few weeks asking about GTA 6 being delayed again.
The short answer is no, as far as I am aware there will be no more delays.
When I broke the story of GTA 6 being delayed from May, internally I could still chat with Rockstar devs, that is no longer case. Everybody is radio silent currently (and rightly so) no one is talking to me at all which is a very good indicator that we are in the end game.
On top of that, Strauss would not be saying stuff like "people will be calling in sick on November 19" if it was going to be delayed again.
Thirdly, the rest of the industry is trying to navigate around GTA 6 currently with when to release their titles and Rockstar is very much aware that radio silence and ongoing delays is starting to screw with the entire industry at large due to the magnitude of it's release.
I am thinking late May/June for Trailer 3 so the rest of the industry can actually start making a definite plan for their games, Rockstar's radio silence is a nightmare for marketing departments at AAA studios currently lol.
