💦Hydration: The Game-Changer for Student Athletes
Staying hydrated is one of the most important things you can do to maintain health and performance!
Most athletes need 90–120 oz. of fluid per day + minerals lost through sweat. Simple tips to stay on track:
-Weigh in before and after training.
-Rehydrate with 16–24 oz. per pound lost.
-Include minerals during workouts >60 min.
🚨Even a 2% loss in body weight from dehydration can:
-Cause headaches
-Drop speed, power & strength
-Increase risk of cramping & injury
- Reduce circulation & cooling ability
🏆Pro tips for optimal performance:
- Drink water consistently (set alarms if needed!)
- Pack minerals/electrolytes for long sessions
-Add 30–60g of carbs per hour of intense activity
-Heavy sweaters or extra training = MORE fluids + minerals
-Don’t neglect your controllables. Use this guide to assess

Every parent asks the same question before they commit how long until I actually see results?
Less than 2 weeks.
Day 1–7 athletes text Jeremy their weight every single morning. That one habit does two things: builds accountability and shows them the process is working in real time.
1.5 pounds the first week. Do that 10 more times that's 15 pounds. That's the 25 extra feet on every ball. That's the bat speed. That's the roster spot.
Most parents think it takes months. It doesn't. The athletes who go to work see it in 7 days and by week 2 it's clockwork.
The only thing you can't buy is time. A 6'2" senior at 157 lbs with one year left doesn't have runway to waste.
👉 If your athlete is training hard but still not seeing results, DM me. I'll help you figure out what's missing and how to fuel the right way.

If distance coaches think sprinters (including 400m) should train with the distance athletes to "build endurance", why don't they think distance runners should train with the sprinters for a better kick?

We’ve had a ton of athletes training in and off season through the school year. You can’t take the summer off and this is your why! Come train with us this summer and keep the development going into the next school year!
Collin Philcrantz lead the was today in a tough 5-2 wings Nashua South. Phil notched a CG, 5h, 1er, 1bb, 8 k gem! On offense it was a collective effort. Iorio, Stott, Jordan, Ruggiero, and Washington with rbi’s! Good tune up game for the playoffs!!!

Interesting (I am sure @pntrack agrees) talk with elite soccer coach today. He was saying the the players with the best conditioning dont make the best soccer players. 😳. I loved it and understood. It is about speed and how fast you play. I am always assessing the same!
The need is greater than ever!
To all the athletes out there - if you’re fortunate enough to have a qualified professional at your school, and you’re choosing not to care, listen, or follow what they’re asking you to do.
Shame on you.
If the goal is to get strong, stop missing so many lifts. Strength is built on repeated successes with technical mastery – and you’ll get more out of smoking 95% of your 1RM than you will getting stapled by 105%.
Yesterday we had 2 more of our seniors at signing day! Congratulations to the both of you! We look forward to seeing what your future will hold and all that you will accomplish💙🎓
