The slowdown in regional propadee is on…
Strong majority of regional propadees selling under list price
Couple that with price falls in Melbourne and now Sydney and it makes for an interesting 2025!!
I wouldn’t want to have all my wealth tied up in a house…
@Farid_0v@MoSalah 95% of people who celebrate Xmas do not go to church regularly, in fact have not been on the inside of a church within the last full year. It has become a more or less secular holiday where people buy each other gifts and spend time together. Quit creating imaginary problems.
IMF: “Australians, you are idiots who have overleveraged on housing, and the Coalition’s plans to allow you to borrow more are the stupidest thing we have ever heard!”

@Wordsarewordz@PierrePoilievre All of these mainstream "conservatives" are the same. Left/right distinction doesn't matter either, the major parties of Anglosphere nations are all fucking hypocrites.
@DrewPavlou@australian He had no business being over there fighting for anyone, Ukraine or Russia. As an Australian citizen we don't need vigilante retards picking sides in conflicts that don't concern Australia. He's no hero, he's a brainwashed idiot just like you.
@tonyreeswoods@DaveTaylorNews 3.5% trimmed mean inflation and going the wrong way, retail still pumping, a 3.9% unemployment rate, far below NAIRU and you read a clear bias to easing. I think you're the one interpreting the minutes based on your agenda, i.e., desperate for rate cuts.
@bowtiedstocks Gentrification is pretty funny. I remember going to Noosa for holidays with my parents back in the 90's, back then it was nothing to brag about, just a cheap place to have a holiday, not the posh upmarket joint it is now.
@rationalaussie Speculator scum passing on as much of the cost of their increasingly expensive mortgages as they possibly can on to hapless renters thanks to 1.) Housing ponzi 2. Pathological psychology around housing 3.) Extremely high immigration 4.) Jimmy C's spending means RBA can't cut.
Got to love the total self-serving bullshit they come out with. Unemployment falls back down to 3.9% so then they come out and say that they think the NAIRU is 3.75% instead of 4.5%, which is the official RBA figure. No fiction is too bold for these desperados chasing rate cuts.
@crashm111 I had to look that up at I knew on the face of it it couldn't be correct, and as I suspected it's way off. The last census shows Indians as 240,000 or 5% of total population. Still quite significant, but nowhere near one-fifth.
Prelim Domain auction clearances
Syd 49%=final ~50%,Dec norm 57%
Mel 62%=final ~59%,Dec norm 61%
Low vols into Christmas, but Syd remains v weak.Expect further weakness as "high" rates for longer hold buyers back & drive up distressed listings, consistent w falling prices

Another day, another article from The Guardian about the homeless crisis without a single mention of the mass immigration disaster. Completely unethical. The Guardian is backed by the same type of people as the Teals
