@GolazoAmerica@ChristinaUnkel Agree completely with your assessment of the appeal. To your point though, as you said, there is a debate between red/yellow which is exactly why VAR shouldn’t be getting involved, they seem to ignore clear and obvious whenever they want.
@NateSilver538 I think that’s valid, as much as the play has improved and the squad is stronger in terms of higher end talent and depth, as someone born in 98, round of 16 exits have been the norm for me, and if they’re lose Monday they’re back to where they’ve usually been.
@stoney16 They can appeal, doubt it will go through, reds are generally only rescinded if it wasn’t a foul or mistaken identity. The argument would be that it was VAR overreach as they need a “clear and obvious error” to review.
@BarstoolBigCat It should begin and end with the fact that it was not a clear and obvious error. The problem is unless it’s Messi they use slow motion and stills they don’t show real time how the Bosnia player caused Balogun to lose his balance.
@TJLang70 He literally gets knocked off balance by the Bosnia player. Messi is allowed to intentionally rake someone though. Soccer refs love making it about them.
@971theticketxyt So gutted for his family both on and off air. Didn’t really discover a love for hockey until a few years ago and I feel like I owe so much to him for that. Grateful for him making so many of my afternoons brighter. RIP
@AndyBitterVT This is the final nail in the coffin for the NCAA having any governing authority in football. They can’t even enforce a rule that was reasonable and generally agreed upon. Add that to the fact that the B1G and SEC will determine playoff format going forward, the NCAA is done.
@JimCosta_ This is no way a defense of Steve, but I find it incredibly pathetic after acquiring Faulk at the deadline and the way he shrunk as a player and as the leader of this team that he chooses to leave now. Was never worthy of the C and they weren’t winning with him on the first line.
