“The amount of indoctrination happening in schools and universities is far beyond what parents realize. Kids today are having a completely different experience than we did.”

He gave a concrete example. A friend’s daughters in a Bay Area high school were asked who the first presidents were. They named George Washington.

Then he asked what else they knew about him.

Their only answer: “He was a slave owner.”

Nothing about leading the Continental Army. Nothing about winning the Revolution. Nothing about becoming the indispensable man who held the new nation together.

Just the smear. That was the entire lesson.

Parents have no idea what their kids are actually being taught — and even less idea of what is being deliberately erased.

This is not education. This is systematic rewriting of American history to produce kids who feel guilt instead of pride.

The machine is still running full speed. Don’t sleep on it.

The American people are paying full freight for 2 increasingly empty chairs.

Mitch McConnell has barely been seen publicly in months. Maxine Waters is 88. Written statements, staff updates and occasional appearances shouldn’t be enough to end legitimate questions about whether elected officials are still fully capable of doing the jobs taxpayers are funding.

This isn’t Republican vs. Democrat. It’s about a system that increasingly treats congressional seats like lifetime appointments while voters are expected to accept limited transparency.

At minimum, Americans should be able to expect:

• Regular public appearances
• Direct answers from the elected official
• Basic transparency about their ability to serve

If someone is capable of representing millions of Americans in Congress, demonstrating that publicly shouldn’t be an unreasonable standard.

Voters deserve representation not just a name attached to a seat.
