Six Meiteis were abducted by alleged #KukiNarcoTerrorists in Jiribam district. Three bodies—two children and a woman—were recovered from the Barak River, sparking outrage.

To enhance security, it is imperative that forces establish camps on the hills, maintaining equal distance from the nearest residential areas of both communities.​​

Strategically repositioning security forces to elevated areas could provide a tactical advantage, enabling better monitoring and response to threats, thereby enhancing protection for all communities.
