Positioning for this (hopefully) upcoming cycle:
1. $Buttcoin (largest position
$20k at current Price)
The most obvious Solana-native meme play right now. Strong community, strong narrative, and one of the most organically distributed holder bases in the current market, even if still fundamentally inorganic.
The downside of being the obvious play is higher sell pressure. More people are positioned, which makes it less attractive for a group to crime it up to extreme valuations. Still, I view anything below a $50M market cap as a accumulation zone. My base target is $300M+, with a path to high 9 figures or even $1B if the cycle gets strong enough.
2. $neet
Very similar setup to $Buttcoin , good narrative but much less organic. Fewer early holders means less sell pressure, which arguably makes it more attractive for a crazy crime.
My view on narratives: Narratives don’t matter in the way people think. They only matter because they bring retail liquidity- but not in the way traders assume. That liquidity isn’t there for you; it’s exit liquidity for the crime to sell. In practice, when groups crime up a coin, they need a good narrative that resonates so retail buys in later as exit liquidity. So as a crypto trader holding an establised meme coin from $10M to $1B you’re not really betting on narrative-driven demand—you’re betting on crime. Narrative is not something to take at face value, its just a secondary mechanism that enables crime, not something that independently drives price. It’s two steps removed from the actual move.
This is why people lose money in a bad markt: they buy strong narratives expecting price action, but no one is criming it up, so the move never materializes the way they expect.
That’s why $neet interests me. It feels less distributed than $Buttcoin , which creates both opportunity and risk. More upside potential, but also more dependence on a smaller group controlling the action. If NEAT ever revisits a $10M market cap, I’d consider that extremely attractive.
3. $ASTEROID
Anything around $20–25M market cap looks cheap to me.
The main reason is the Elon connection. If we get another strong cycle and further confirmation around the SpaceX mascot narrative, I could easily see it reclaiming all-time highs and potentially moving much higher.
Other names I’m watching
Some older memes that might pick up again if we get a proper cycle: $retire , $67 , solana:F7pB3ZdfBnyFw2LRHydWEn9BmhEa5XihXLjhySFRpump , and a few others.
$TripleT is also on my radar, but I don’t understand it well enough to have a strong opinion. Could it move? Sure. Do I currently see a path to 9 figures? Not really.
Most interesting speculative bet: solana:89BZ5RU212yKr3iFdJHyn3ZsR37bS4s8TbmVb2yApump (Magic Internet Money)
This one is fascinating because it’s one of the few memes people ACTUALLY use.
The coin has the original creator onboard, the original X account, and is sitting around a $300k market cap. The reason it’s so low from what i can tell is that early sell pressure from some part of the dev team/bundle heavily damaged momentum.
That said, the meme itself is elite. Everyone knows it, lots of people use it, and this is arguably the only legitimate coin tied to the Original Magic Internet Money meme.
If the sell pressure is gone, there’s a world where it gets rediscovered. High risk, but one of the more interesting asymmetric bets I’ve found.
That’s what I’m watching.
I get basically no reactions to these posts, so if you’ve actually read this, comment your thoughts, would be interesting to hear.
@Murphythequant If your actually being fr, you need to understand you want people to take their money into their hands to buy whats essentially your coin now. So give some proof.
either dox yourself if you want, show how you record this. DO a live stream etc etc do something
@Drallio True, and that’s kind of my point. It did the full 225 to 39 round trip in under three weeks, being young doesn’t make that provisional. Everyone who was there for it still got cooked.
Second leg at this age, sure, very possible. Just don’t think it’s the first one resuming.
I think it’s fair to say the $CASHCAT thesis got obliterated at this point, lol. The trade just didn’t work.
What gets me is the guys still bull posting 300 mil, 500 mil, billion dollar cashcat, all sanguine about it like nothing went wrong. Everyone who sat through it got giga cooked, that’s just what happened.
Could it still get to 300, 500, even a billion? Sure, maybe, who knows. But acting like this was just a correction and we’re back on track, after what this coin already did to everyone, is kind of weird.
So for me, first real bit of momentum up and I’m getting out of what’s left.
Could just be me reading it wrong though, so if you’re seeing it differently, let me know.
Fair point, and usually yeah. But 225m to 39m isn't a shakeout, that's the whole chart getting destroyed.
Could still run from here, sure. But then you kind of need a new thesis for it, sell pressure's gone, X Y Z, so here's the leg to 300. Acting like it's the same trade from 100m just taking longer is the insane part.
Figured I’d share where I’m positioned. Feels like most people are sleeping on the quieter setups right now, too fixed on what’s hyped, and those are often the easiest trades going.
$Asteroid’s a good example. Bought a 22m average, it’s at 32 now, taking some profit. My read is there’s a plushie event coming, Elon probably involved. Sub 20m, ideally sub 15m, the risk-reward’s good for buying some and almost nobody’s watching.
$CashCat I’m just trying to exit around break even.
$GRAM’s been painful, took it on leverage and nearly got liquidated, spot only. It’s not $hype doing buybacks, and it isn’t tied to Telegram as a business, but i think it still is the quiet vehicle everyone’s using for Telegram exposure, even bigger players (maybe im wrong, but it does seem like that). Current Price action looks like a leverage flush, once it clears I think it runs. Could be misreading it though, so tell me if you see it differently.
$Buttcoin’s my biggest bag, most convicted, covered it plenty on here already. Reads risk-off, hard to see it much lower. $TripleT or $Jimothy could go to zero, just like $Punch and$67 did. $Buttcoin doing the same feels very unlikely, which is why it’s one of the more asymmetric size trades on chain rn.
That’s the book right now.
