Oh Patron Saint Of Moving On!!
May the night session hit like a fresh mornin in its parallel universe 😅 and may Siquijor finally step up its actual charm instead of just relyin on the freezer. Ningbo’s sad little humidity? we exorcist you!! clear the air so it turns radiant and actually works with EALA’s game instead of fightin it. mind razorsharp, locked in, zero noise. NYFW and Paris Fashion Week were cute, we soaked it up, had our fun.. now that chapter’s closed. time to grind and remind everyone who still has business on the court.
ALEX EALA vs Diane Parry, Ningbo Open R1, Center Court, last match of the day (not before 7:30 PM PHT). First meetin. Both took titles this year, but only one of them needs to stop handin out firstset leads that quietly disappear and start coverin every inch like she owns the lease.
let her imitate the OG and LARP her way to success.. play the part of the player who dictates, moves first, and makes the court feel small until it stops bein a role and becomes the result. no free points, no fade, no “she’ll figure it out later.” JINX locked on the naysayers, the nightmatch sumpa, and the humidity that thought it could linger. when the air clears, the mind locks, and she decides she’s done cosplayin and ready to collect, the court shrinks for everybody else.
LABAN!! but make it look inevitable. 🇵🇭🎾 #AlexEala #NingboOpen #wta #VigilAtDawn
LOUDER! The problem isn’t Alex Eala’s talent, it’s the unrealistic expectations people put on her. She will win, she will lose, and she will learn. Let Alex be Alex. Her story is still being written. 🇵🇭❤️🎾
Being an Alex Eala Fan Is Not for the Faint of Heart! 🔥
The highs, the lows, win or lose, we're here for the ride! 💯
P.S. Remember this pic? That elbow needs to heal fully. Alex, we trust you & your team to put health first, always. 🙏💕
#AlexEala
The more matalo c Alex, mas need nya moral support and encouragement, hindi bashing. Baka may pinagdadaanan din. Ang hirap kaya Tennis. Ganun talaga, next tournament na lang ulit. 🙃🙏
“You’re our youngest guest and I don’t think anyone’s gonna break that record.”

SOMEDAY, ALEX. SOMEDAY. ✨🇵🇭
In Tokyo 2020, Hidilyn Diaz let Carlos Yulo hold her Olympic gold medal. A few years later, Caloy finally held Olympic gold medals of his own.
Now, a similar moment. EJ Obiena lets Alex Eala hold his Asian Games gold medal. Maybe it’s just a simple gesture, but we’ve seen a moment like this before.
Here’s hoping that same golden chemistry finds its way to Alex someday.
No pressure, no expectations. Whatever the future holds, we’ll be there through every win and every setback. Keep chasing your dreams, Alex. We’ll always be rooting for you 🇵🇭
GOLD might have slipped from her hands, but Alex Eala has given us more than enough reasons to be proud. 🇵🇭❤️
You could see how tired she was. Her body had already been pushed through match after match, but until the very last point, she was still fighting. Still chasing every ball. Still refusing to simply give in.
And that’s exactly why Filipinos love Alex beyond the wins, the rankings, and the medals.
She could focus entirely on her professional career, but every time she gets the opportunity to represent the Philippines, you can see just how much wearing that flag means to her. Her patriotism has always been one of the most beautiful parts of her journey.
Today may not have ended with the GOLD we were all hoping for, but there is absolutely no shortage of pride here.
You fought until your body had almost nothing left to give and you did it carrying PHILIPPINES on your chest. 🇵🇭
Thank you for fighting for the flag, Alex.
The medal will always be something we celebrate, but the heart you show while fighting for our country is what makes us love you even more.
Mabuhay ka, Alex! We’re heartbroken with you but proud na proud kami sa’yo. 🇵🇭❤️🔥🎾
We had a home WTA125
We had another 125 trophy
We had good runs in two SLAMS
We had our FIRST TOUR TITLE
We had confirmation of WTA250
We had a Bronze medal in AsianGames
Like from nothing we had these?
All because of 1 tennis player
ALEX EALA just keep healthy. Thank you!
Sometimes, you just gotta give my girlie, Alex Eala, a breather. 😮💨
If you guys want the GOLD, trust me, she wants it more. If you want her to play better than she did in her last matches, for sure, she’s aiming for that too.
But it’s honestly getting exhausting seeing the same dragging remarks every single time she’s “not performing well” according to people’s expectations. One shaky match and suddenly, people are online saying, “She’s gonna lose if she keeps playing like this.”
And some even go as far as saying, “Sayang lang yung spot na binigay sa kanya kung papatalo lang siya.”
OMFG. Are you hearing yourselves? 😭
Do we even realize what she has sacrificed just to be at the Asian Games and represent the Philippines? She could be somewhere else focusing entirely on her professional career, but she chose to show up and play for the flag.
And can we PLEASE acknowledge that the players on the other side of the net are also elite athletes who came here aiming for the exact same GOLD? They trained for this. They sacrificed for this. They want it just as badly. Alex is playing against athletes who are also fighting to win.
I really wanted to stay in full celebratory mode, but I can’t help pointing out how some Filipinos are becoming increasingly entitled to Alex Eala’s professional career, as if every match she plays for the country comes with an obligation to deliver us a GOLD medal.
Supporting an athlete shouldn’t mean only celebrating them when they win. It should also mean giving them grace when they struggle, respecting the competition, and remembering that they’re human beings carrying enormous expectations on their shoulders.
So I hope we learn to rally behind Alex in a healthier way, whether she wins in straight sets, survives a three-set battle, or has a day when her game simply isn’t clicking.
And most importantly, CONGRATULATIONS, ALEX! 🇵🇭❤️🎾
Thank you for showing up for the Philippines, fighting for every point, and carrying our flag on another international stage.
Laban lang, Alex! We’re rooting for you, not just for the medals, but through every match along the way. 🫶🇵🇭
