@Jason@Jason what I don’t understand is that almost no one is supportive of an XY competing against an XX at the Olympics (or in high school) - so why? Who is doing it?
@mwseibel David didn’t ask - he is a great investor to me and publically attacking his reputation for politics is inappropriate, childish and distasteful. We need more investors like David and Craft!
@DavidSacks I don’t know Conrad, but I suppose the one using this sort of reputation attack in a public forum is the same type who is convicted for egregiously violating insurance laws.
@DavidSacks I am also the CEO of one of David’s portfolio companies - and I would add that he and his firm have been extraordinary investors with the highest level of integrity. I am grateful to have David behind me at Candex and seen him supportive during rocky times.
@honam It makes me sad to read this post as it feels like a Eulogy. I too have had such great experiences with SVB. I benefitted from their events for startups, their fintech accelerator, their loans, their people and more. They can’t be recreated.
@jasonlk I would argue that we have no choice - when we say AR the VCs don’t know what we are talking about. So it’s easier to say ARR and then explain it is kind of like ARR.
@rabois I agree - whatever your political affiliation, it should be scary that these companies have the power (and are willing) to silence the president of the United States.
