I am going to be an orthopedic surgeon! 10 year old me would be freaking out.
What a serendipitous journey from my personal experience to my dream job. I've been waiting for this day since I met my own orthopedic surgeon. Mentorship matters. Forever thankful. #orthomatch2022
I’m a firm believer in the importance of sharing different viewpoints & respectful debate.
So, after listening, researching, & speaking w/ others, I urge a pause on @MassGenBrigham trainee unionization.

In Tulsa Oklahoma, one of our own, Preston Phillips, a Black Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon, as well as his colleague Stephanie Husen, staff member Amanda Glen and patient William Love were killed.
When will enough be enough? We offer prayers and condolences!
We are extremely saddened by the loss of one of our members due to gun violence. Dr. Preston J. Phillips was a friend, a mentor, and a colleague to many in our organization. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of Dr. Phillips’ and the families of the other victims.
I try to stay non-political on Twitter. But as a father I cannot. No person on either side of the government or society can look at this and not want change unless totally void of moral compass. Don’t @ me, I don’t care. If you think I am talking to you I am. #gunreformnow
