Three women who dated Graham Platner, the Democratic candidate for Senate in Maine, told The New York Times they found his actions intimidating and disturbing, describing volatile relationships. https://t.co/ClaeKxVUEs
He needed a story to justify his non-existent-until-he-needed-his-superiors-to-cover-his-ass-a-decade-later-after-claiming-he-had-a-Bronze-Star-he-never-earned Bronze Star. Respectfully.
In a May 8, 2022, post on X, Wes Moore wrote, “When I was an Army captain and led soldiers into combat in Afghanistan, we lived by a simple principle: Leave no one behind.”
After a yearlong investigation, Spotlight on Maryland found no documentary evidence that Moore led soldiers into combat, but it is representative of how Moore, now governor of Maryland, often speaks about his time in Afghanistan, using language that could lead one to reasonably believe he was a leader of front-line paratroopers in the 82nd Airborne Division and that he experienced direct-fire combat.
It’s a claim Spotlight on Maryland has asked Moore and his superior officer, then Lt. Col. Mike Fenzel, to provide evidence of, but a request they have denied. Read more: https://t.co/BxUCm0RBfv

@BessetteKeith@just55570@LPNH Yeah they lost me on the Oliver nom. They had a perfect opportunity the last two cycles. And then this convention? I’m back to being a little L…
🚨 WOW! WH anti-fraud task force cochair Andrew Ferguson just broke it down PERFECTLY on fraud:
"Our whole society was designed for a high trust people."
Then we imported the 3rd world.
"The American people rightly expects that their fellow citizens will deal with them and with the government, honestly and fairly."
"That's why for up until the last decade or so shelves in our grocery stores and our pharmacies were open and readily accessible. We weren't accustomed to seeing security guards outside of banks or jewelry stores."
"We didn't have to worry about organized retail theft or industrial scale scammers or the type you all protect your citizens from every day. Nor did we have to worry about fraudsters raiding our benefits program. But sadly, that is no longer true."
"It's become clear that huge groups of people in this country are taking advantage of our longstanding culture of trust to enrich themselves at the expense of the American people. I think a brief example would be illustrative. Just this weekend, I was shopping at a big home improvement store to buy a drill to do some home improvement."
"And I had a call button and wait 15 minutes for a sales associate to come unlock a steel cage and a steel padlock to get access to a drill. It's why deodorant is now locked behind plastic windows at pharmacies. It's why security guards are seen at every store in America."
"The social trust is evaporated and people are taking advantage of it and the same is true with our federal benefits programs."
"Huge segments of the population have decided to take advantage of this generosity and trust of American citizens through deception and fraud and billions and billions of dollars each year."
"Leave our programs into the hands of pirates, fraudsters, scammers and gangs who treat American generosity as little more than a get quick rich scheme."
"We shouldn't have to live this way."
When she asks him to name something he loves that’s not family or friends she probably thought he’d say baseball, barbecue, fishing, the rodeo even…instead the first thing that was on his mind was… (checks notes) trans children. 😵💫

Fauci walked into a CIA briefing in 2020 and overrode six out of seven scientists who said COVID came from a Wuhan lab. This isn't a conspiracy. It's a convergence of interests. They funded gain-of-function research. The virus leaked. So they covered their tracks. @MattKibbe
Six months ago Massie said that if all the names of the guilty men aren't released with the Epstein files, he would read them on the floor of the House.
He spent the past six months accusing Trump of protecting pedophiles. He should read the names just like he said he would.
One of the most dangerous things about @spencerpratt is that if he wins he will clean up Los Angeles and show that it can be done in New York, Chicago, Seattle, etc. None of our cities have to be like this.
As goes California, so goes the nation.
@Russell_MFG_USA@HardPass4 They also get an actual ejection seat for their collection. Nothing grabs your attention quicker, especially as a tacair pilot, than the real thing sitting in the skipper or xo’s office. At least the first time seeing it. You know what it means.
The Supreme Court should not be “balanced” or seek to give wins to “both sides.”
Its job is to correctly interpret the law. If one side keeps advancing interpretations of the law that are incorrect, they should lose more often.
