*BREAKING!*
President Tinubu has approved the comprehensive reform of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), which will see the agency being led by a civilian in its operational leadership, while the military will continue to handle security for corps members across the country.
Tinubu also directed the Attorney-General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, and the Minister of Youth, Ayodele Olawande, to amend the NYSC Act and its regulations to reflect all the approved reform measures, enabling immediate implementation of the new framework.
Some of the landmark reforms include:
1. A technology-driven call-up process.
2. Risk-sensitive deployment to better protect corps members.
3. A redesigned six-week orientation programme with a stronger focus on leadership, entrepreneurship, digital skills, and specialised career streams.
4. Skills-based primary assignments aligned with academic background and career pathways.
5. Modern governance with civilian operational leadership while the military continues to provide security support.
6. Improved camp standards through a national grading and certification system.
7. A new graduation ceremony to replace the Passing Out Parade, and a redesigned NYSC uniform that reflects professionalism and national pride

I got a text of ADC’s press release to President Tinubu, where they said they won't eat road alone. Beautiful, ADC has agreed that President Tinubu has done very well in road infrastructure. Let us start with that first. Without roads, you can't go to hospitals, schools, and farms.
Let me say to the ADC National Chairman. I don't know which of the factions, but I know David Mark is the chairman of one of the factions. He was Senate President for 8 years uninterrupted. The road from Agwanga-Makurdi was awarded when he was Senate President in the ruling government then. Poor people couldn't go back home to Makurdi, but Mark, as the then Senate President, was flying with helicopter to his village. But today, under this administration, we can now drive to Makurdi freely.

“Fuel Importers Were Losing Their Market To Dangote, Then Eventually They Found a Loophole…Dangote Sells Fuel Cheaper To Foreign Traders Than To Nigerian Marketers, So They Go To Togo, Buy The Same Dangote Fuel, And Ship It Back To Nigeria. And Even After Shipping Costs, It’s Still N65 Cheaper Per Litre. Between March-May 2026, 70-80% Of Fuel Imported By Sea Was Dangote Fuel That Left Nigeria And Came Back. But Why Is Nigerian Fuel Cheaper To Buy From Togo?”.
