£200k grant has been offered by @the_lta to upgrade the courts for community use but the council has done an about turn and voted not to accept this. Unless this is overturned, the courts will disappear and the space lost to tennis forever.

Please get behind this @tennisscotland and lobby the council. There’s been tennis courts in Largs since 1920.

Sad to see yet another public park in Scotland struggling to save its tennis courts. We’ve lost so many park sites over the years + they r crucial to making tennis a sport for all. Save Largs’ Douglas Park tennis courts - Sign the Petition! https://t.co/WNjyO8kVkL via @ChangeAUS
