@MarioNawfal No one should have to live in a society that gets brought down to lowest common denominator. Everyone should be aspiring upwards. And the only way to do that is to add people with good hearts, good work ethics and the will to assimilate to the nation one is entering.
I don’t believe they would have made much on the deal if anything. I believe it was a way to sell their assets and keep all those planes running and people working. The assets were worth 9 bil and now worth 1.5 because they ceased operations and will be sold quickly for much less vs flying existing routes with paying customers.
@negligible_cap@BillAckman He wants griffin to leave. He wants business to pull out, and he wants to destroy NY and rule over it with all his fellow ideologues
@PramilaJayapal Gov doesn’t need more revenue. All of them have increased their take over last decade by a lot, and done nothing noticeable with it. Don’t listen to these fools. The issue is govt itself not tax revenue
He’s making a big deal of what? A higher tax if you don’t live in nyc and make money there? Correct me if I’m wrong but SC and other states do that. If not a primary residence then you get taxed more. I’m capitalist supporter and anti-nyc Mayor but this seems like more of a PR play for him to his voters….unless I’m missing something.
I’ll never drive gas engine again as main car. EV is simple, highly responsive and fast. And after owning one for 5 years, there’s hardly any upkeep. No oil, oil filters….brake pads don’t wear much/last forever. It’s a better tech than gas engine (fun to drive, no lag), it’s less costly to own by a lot….and I still get laid. Some like the loud gas engine, so they should stay away. But the rest should maybe take one for a spin before commenting.
@GovWesMoore@LtGovMiller Wes Morris was not the gov I thought he might be after reading the about the two Wes Moores. Super disappointing. He is a pawn to the leftist demo agenda
TSA should never have to be voted on for funding. Passengers pay fees for security in their airline ticket, and airlines remit it to TSA. Why on earth are we paying taxes and then a security fee each time we travel to only have TSA held hostage by congress.
Good and bad when gov runs things. Army, good. In this case bad… security fees paid by passengers each time they travel, and those fees still go to govt while they don’t fund TSA. There’s no reason TSA should have to get funding approved. The money is always there
@SenMcCormickPA In the meantime, can we start a tip jar? Every person/family throw a strongly recommended 10 bucks in as they go thru until this is over?
I think the first three points are of significantly more importance at this very moment, and the last 2 could be on a future bill during T’s tenure. If voter id doesn’t get fixed I’d hate it to be because the gov is debating the last two points.
Once voter id is fixed, kids 30 years from now won’t believe for a second how hard it was to just make someone show they are who they say they are and American.
