@IvankaTrump The company that runs Rock Creek Park Horse Center, where your kids took lessons, is closing it 4 years early in violation of their contract and the Natl Park Service isn’t stopping them. Can you help? The company, Guest Services Inc, has already sold off 3 horses.
12 yrs after EO13556 created #CUI program to simplify mgt of sensitive unclassified info, the USG has only a draft plan for a more complex system that burdens agencies and #contractors. To learn why #CUI should be reimagined, read @INSAlliance's paper at https://t.co/rmvF4rnwd6.

In this podcast, Greg Torres of @BoozAllen and I talk about ways to make the security clearance process more efficient. We discuss 2 new papers from @INSAlliance on challenges of moving cleared people among agencies and clearing people with foreign ties. https://t.co/tg8MrGYsQM
Why is it so hard for government contractors to get their security #clearances transferred from one agency to another? Listen to this @FederalNewsNet podcast, in which I share recommendations from the latest white paper from @INSAlliance. https://t.co/16fvlbn4qS
See the new @INSAlliance paper on clearing people w/foreign ties. While the #Intelligence Community needs people with language & cultural skills, the clearance process - focused on eliminating risk, not mitigating it - makes it too hard to hire them. https://t.co/I7Vk93O0vf
Read the new @INSAlliance white paper highlighting the national security impact of rules that make it difficult for cleared contractors and USG personnel to move from one agency to another. https://t.co/YY6Uckq4PP

Insights in @BreakingDefense on possible future uses of the #metaverse for military operations, training, and information sharing. Sounds like hype now, but it could change the way organizations do business. https://t.co/fEWU21qmNh
Warning from @RepGaramendi in @C4ISRNET of Russian threats to GPS satellites, loss of which would wreak havoc on the US economy and critical infrastructure. Perhaps the space sector should be designated as critical infrastructure, as @INSA proposed. https://t.co/Ko4C6EOpOi
Negotiations case study: @MLB players ExecCmte (negotiators) voted 8-0 vs. deal b/c they focus on sacrifices & disrespect by owners. Player reps voted 26-4 in favor b/c they want to play. When deep in talks, you focus on process & personality, not outcome.

The breakdown of the votes makes it clear: The players wanted to play. Player reps, who represent the rank-and-file, voted 26-4 in favor of the agreement. The executive subcommittee, made of elected leaders, voted 8-0 against it. In the end, all of the players' voices were heard.
Amazing that rogue FSB elements tipped off the Ukrainians about a plot to assassinate President Zelensky. If true, there are evidently divisions in the #Russia government about the wisdom of the #Ukraine campaign. https://t.co/B6GiauHZYr
Do selfies count as geospatial imagery? Love this photo of @NGA_GEOINT Director VADM Bob Sharp taking a selfie with NGA's Mary Ann Kissinger, who was being honored with an @INSAlliance Achievement Award this week. #INSAachievement#ShowTheWay

Glad to see my colleagues at @RANDCorporation examining global powers' engagement in #Africa. Just like #China, #Russia is seeking to secure natural resources and make money, but more importantly to gain influence and position itself as a great power. https://t.co/hWuId11DLV
