By co-opting perceived as legitimate validating sources, propagandists are able to bypass natural skepticism and suspend disbelief. Done effectively people believe even the most unlikely things.

That’s not necessarily bad. If Trump does remove a lot of the silly & overburdensome regulations, plus gives tax cuts it could grow the economy substantially. We’ll know soon.

The failure of Dems to recognize the effectiveness of that method for propaganda & take steps to stop it was frustrating.
