@FastbreakHoops5 He blew the whistle before it went in, too. It's not like he waited to see if it dropped to wave it off. Totally straight-forward call. It's not like some refs who will close their eyes in the last seconds and not call any fouls or violations. Those are the refs I wonder about.
@WNYGirlsHockey I appreciate all the time and energy you put into the website. I'm sure I speak for a lot of girls hockey fans when I say that. Well done!
@usmntonly No one is spending half a billion in franchise fees if there's even a microscopic chance that they would get relegated a year later. They would never ever recoup their money in revenue or when they sell.
@runyon_will@OptaSTATS Ted Williams won two triple crowns and was the last man to hit .400, and he didn't win MVP any of those three seasons. A Yankee won all three times.
@OptaSTATS The last guy to hit .400 didn't win MVP that year either. He also won the triple crown in 1942 and 1947 and didn't win MVP. Like this year, all those guys who won MVPs played for the same team.
@NateSilver538 The special kicking ball should be eliminated. What other sport changes the nature of the ball like that? Football is changing for worse the same way technology is making golf courses obsolete.
@vanexel31@Travonne No player will blame his shoes when they have endorsement deals in play. It takes someone like a retired player to speak the truth.
@franfraschilla@Suns Dumb question: why shouldn't Gillespie be allowed to go back to college and make more money to play? What other job restricts you to 4 years? Does amatuerism really exist anymore?
Of course, I should recreate the Lady and the Tramp photo. Thank you to Brandon McCreary and Lucah Gassmann of GI Rugby, who are serving spaghetti tonight until 7 p.m. Stay after the dinner for the All-Island Jazz Concert.

The Grand Island Rugby Club will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on March 26 in the GIHS cafeteria from 5-7 p.m. Should I resurrect the Lady and the Tramp photo?

@CBSSports When he puts his left hand under the ball, he has discontinued his dribble. His right foot was on the floor, making that his pivot foot. He lifted it and put it back down. Travel.
@CBSSports Not only is there is no gather step in college basketball, there is nothing in the travel rule that says two steps. The rule is you can lift your pivot foot when you jump to shoot or pass.
@TheHoopCentral He turns three times with the ball in a chin-it position. The first turn is perfectly legal because it's in concert with his body in his space. His second and third turns are "thrown" to clear out space and are fouls imo.
