@EMP1880877 @lady_valor_07 So they should seek a higher paying job. Tips are optional. I sell vehicles and NEVER expect a tip. And my job is a lot more difficult than serving people their meals and drinks. I almost always tip at least 20% but if the service sucks, the tip will suck. 🤷🏽‍♂️

@lady_valor_07 In NYC, the subtotal was about $460. So a $120 tip would be about 26%. Tipping is optional unless clearly shown on the menu. $40 is better than zero but it’s also stating, “the food and service here was trash”. Expecting at least 26% gratuity and actually saying so is ballsy.
