A comunidade internacional, por meio da Organização das Nações Unidas, precisa responder de forma vigorosa a esse episódio. O Brasil condena essas ações e segue à disposição para promover a via do diálogo e da cooperação.

RIP to Gianfranco Sanguinetti, who died in Prague, where he had lived in recent years, on October 3, 2025, at the age of 77.

From his bio:
At the end of 1968, Sanguinetti traveled to Paris to meet Guy Debord, Mustapha Khayati, and other members of the Situationist International, with the aim of founding the Italian section of the SI, which would then actively participate in the Italian pre-insurrectional movement of 1969 (known as “the hot autumn”). That year, Sanguinetti published the magazine of the Italian section of the Situationist International, No. 1, and organized what would be the last SI conference in Venice. On November 19, 1969, he published a famous manifesto, Warning to the Proletariat on the Present Possibilities of Social Revolution, distributed during a dramatic demonstration in Milan, where a policeman was killed. After the Piazza Fontana massacre in Milan on December 12, 1969, the Situationists distributed the manifesto Is the Reichstag Burning? This latter manifesto, distributed in Milan in the days following the bomb attack, which the media passed off as “anarchist,” already pointed to the state apparatus as the architect and beneficiary of the terrorist act. Along with other Italian Situationists, GFS took refuge in Switzerland. In fact, two days after the attack, a summons from the judiciary arrived at his address in Milan. He then moved to Paris. In 1970, he was one of the few, along with a small number of anarchists, to publicly support and side with the long popular uprising in Reggio Calabria, slandered by the communists and the entire press as “fascist”: it was written that this was the occasion of the “first experiment in organized disinformation in Italy,” preceded only by the false narrative about the Piazza Fontana bombing. When the Italian section of the IS ended in 1970, GFS moved to Paris. On July 27, 1971, upon his return from Caetano, Portugal—where he had smuggled the typescript of the Portuguese translation of Debord's The Society of the Spectacle, later published in Lisbon—GFS was expelled from France by order of Interior Minister Raymond Marcellin, without any charges. He settled in Florence, where Debord joined him. He then participated in the last activities of the IS until its dissolution in 1972, which he countersigned with Guy Debord in La Véritable Scission de l'Internationale. The two continued to collaborate closely in Italy during the long period of state terrorism (“the strategy of tension,” also known as “the years of lead”), denouncing the cynical and criminal use made of it by the secret services, the P2 Lodge, and the secret military structure of Gladio.
