Sometimes we forget how deeply we’ve already been carried through life without even realizing it.

Allah has given us so many things we never even had the courage to ask for… safety we didn’t pray for in detail, opportunities we didn’t know we needed, protection from things we thought we could survive but were never meant for us in the first place. And still, He gave.

So when your heart finally turns to Him in dua—soft, honest, maybe even desperate at times—it’s not a sign of lack. It’s actually a sign that you’re still being guided back to Him, still being heard, still being loved in ways you don’t fully see yet.

Because why would the One who has already given you so much without you even asking suddenly abandon you the moment you start asking intentionally? That’s not how mercy works. That’s not how Allah’s care works.

Dua is not a transaction where you wonder if you’re “too much” or “not deserving enough.” It’s a connection. And every time you raise your hands, even for the same thing over and over again, it’s proof that your heart is still attached to the One who never ignores it.

So don’t let doubt make you question His generosity.

Trust the process of prayer, even when nothing looks like it’s changing yet. Because sometimes what’s coming is not just an answer… but something better, something timed, something that fits you in ways you only understand later.

And Allah, who already gave you more than you asked for, will never suddenly become stingy with your duas. 🤍
