🇱🇻🇷🇴🇷🇺 Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs has strongly condemned a Russian drone strike on a residential apartment building in Galați, Romania, which injured two people.
Declaring full solidarity with Bucharest, Rinkēvičs stated that Latvia is ready to back "appropriate measures" to counter and prevent these aggressive airspace violations on NATO’s eastern flank.
This marks the first time a stray Russian drone has directly struck a residential building and inflicted civilian casualties on NATO territory, testing the alliance's threshold for a unified response as airspace violations rapidly escalate.
Could be seeing some profit taking on these $SWKS today. 11k contracts coming in at the bid near the max return of the contracts. Will have to check oi on Tuesday.
Insane move on these this week from 3.70 to a high of 9 today for over 140% on these.
Another beautiful find thanks to @unusual_whales
🇶🇦🇰🇼 Qatar's PM and FM Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman just took a call from Kuwait's FM to coordinate on the Iran-U.S. ceasefire
Joint message: all parties must engage in ongoing mediation efforts.
The goal: a sustainable agreement that prevents renewed escalation.
Both countries have been hit by Iranian missiles. Both have U.S. military bases on their soil. Neither can afford this war to restart.
And while they are making calls, Trump's team decides whether to resume bombing...
Diplomatic urgency versus military momentum. Which wins?
BREAKING:
Iran has reaffirmed their position: NO PEACE UNLESS ATTACKS ON LEBANON END
Trump has a decision to make: Reign in Netanyahu, or threaten the entire Iran peace deal
My bet is on the former
🚨 BREAKING:
🇺🇸 Trump:
" WORLD’S MOST POWERFUL RESET!!!"
Will write a detailed post on what he means, but in brief: Even though the Iran war did not go as planned, it actually offers the region and the U.S. a chance to reset the violent status quo that has existed for years.
🇺🇸 More than a quarter of House Democrats are now calling for Trump’s removal from office, either by impeachment or invoking the 25th Amendment.
The trigger? Trump’s threat to “eliminate a whole civilization” in Iran.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump:
“Many of [former presidents] are saying off the record and behind the scenes they should've done this a long time ago.”
Like it or not, he marked a shift in U.S. foreign policy over Iran.

🚨🇺🇸 🇮🇷 THE RESCUE MISSION EVERYONE CELEBRATED MAY HAVE KILLED MORE PEOPLE THAN IT SAVED...
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson says nobody counted the losses.
Two Blackhawks down. A C-130 exploded mid-air. Possibly six dead from one crash alone.
All of this two days after Trump declared every air defense in Iran obliterated.
Then the post:
"Open the fucking strait, you crazy bastards."
Power plant day. Bridge day. Praise be to Allah.
Johnson says the cursing is noise.
Mocking a deity while needing every Muslim ally you can get is the real damage.
@LarryCJohnson2
🚨🇮🇷 SECURITY GUARANTEES ARE MEANINGLESS HERE
Alan Eyre, former U.S. diplomat, Iran nuclear negotiator, says no deal can truly guarantee Iran’s safety.
He says past attacks during negotiations make trust nearly impossible.
@AlanEyre1
🚨🇬🇧 BREAKING:
Sarah Ferguson (Duchess of York) has had her "Freedom of the City of York" honor stripped due to her ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
Even the royals aren't immune anymore, they should've become American citizens 🙊

UPDATE: I’m really struggling to call what happens next
On one hand, Trump needs an off-ramp to limit the global economic damage and growing domestic political pressure
Iran would also like this war to end before more cities are leveled and more leaders are killed
On the other hand, Iran is doing surprisingly well controlling the Strait, striking the Gulf and Israel, and selling oil for more than twice the price than before the war, making a killing
And on the American side, troops are heading to the region for what increasingly looks like a ground operation to control Hormuz
Negotiations are the most promising development since February 28th. But Iran's warnings to Gulf nations against supporting any ground operation, combined with maximalist demands from both sides, make a deal unlikely in the short term
🚨🇭🇺🇮🇷 THE REAL RISK WITH THE IRAN WAR IS THAT IT WON'T END
PM Orbán warns the biggest danger in the Iran war is simple: it could drag on, just like Ukraine.
What starts as a “quick operation” can turn into years of conflict with no clear exit.
And for Europe, that’s where the real threat begins, because countries in the Middle East are buffers, and if they destabilize due to a prolonged regional war, mass migration follows.
And Europe can’t handle that.
@PM_ViktorOrban
🇺🇸🇮🇷 Journalist:
"What was the turning point to make you want to pursue a ceasefire?
A few days ago you said you wanted to continue bombing Iran."
Trump:
"The fact they're talking to us and they're talking sense."
🇮🇷 Airstrikes are pounding Bushehr in southern Iran right now.
Multiple heavy explosions are rocking Tehran, too, with thick smoke rising near Niavaran.

🇺🇸 🇮🇷 The U.S. is pulling out all the stops to reopen the Strait of Hormuz:
* Navy escorts already running for some tankers
* Heavy pressure on allies (UK, France, Gulf states, even Japan) to send warships
* Threats of direct U.S. action if Iran keeps laying mines & hitting ships
* Diplomatic push (talks with Oman, Qatar, UAE) + economic leverage (waiving some Russian oil sanctions to calm prices)
Why it matters:
- 20% of world oil + huge LNG flows through that 21-mile choke point.
- Iran’s blockade = global energy shock.
Trump wants a coalition so the U.S. doesn’t pay the full bill but so far it’s mostly American ships & threats.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump on The Strait of Hormuz:
"All of their military is out, but you can always have somebody drop a mine in the water. It’s like terrorism.
So we thought Europe would help with that because they do have some minesweepers."
🇺🇸🇮🇷 U.S. intelligence is telling Trump what he doesn't want to hear
Two weeks of bombing. 15,000 targets destroyed.
Khamenei killed. Navy sunk.
And the classified assessment landing on Trump's desk says the regime will survive, possibly more radical and entrenched than before.
The IRGC is far from cracking. It's actually consolidating.
The diplomats inside Iran who favored negotiation have been discredited.
The hardliners are stronger.
The worst part? Trump was told this would happen before he gave the green light.
Gulf allies are furious. The regime still stands.
And the Strait is still closed. This war is becoming exactly what Iran wanted: a fight of endurance America can't afford to lose but can't seem to win.
