Hughes was also central to the *thinking man’s driver* narrative re. Lewis & Button.

This isn’t about Mark Hughes. Or his apology. It is about the culture in which content such as that article could ever be allowed to exist. Derek Warwick referenced the thinking that robbed Lewis Hamilton of WDC #8. Lewis/we live under the spectre of that racism to this very day.
