The tools changed. The job didn’t.

A good story still has to land. A bad cut still ruins a scene. Taste still wins.

If you love stories, move fast, and obsess over the details nobody else catches, we are here!

We're in production on our first feature animated film(first among many). Long form narrative, story-first and AI native.

This isn't an experiment, but a film. Not a piece of content, not a clip - its a film. It is also being done from Bombay - we are not doing remote work now. The aim is to make something long form - unlike anything being made right now with Gen AI.

We're called Bombay Locale. We're a small team who has been working in the creative industry for a decade now. We have great film people and great AI people(story-first). We realise we need more of both.

If you understand long form narrative, love cinema as a medium, can push what GenAI tools can actually do, come be part of something hard, beautiful, and real.

You're welcome home.

PS - We take our work very seriously, but not ourselves.

Send your best work in my DMs. And here's a form you should fill. Feel free to tag people you think would like this.

Record-Low Births Shake Japan

Japan recorded fewer than 700,000 births in 2024 for the first time since records began in 1899, with 686,061 babies born—a drop of over 41,000 from 2023 and the ninth straight year of decline.

The fertility rate fell to a record low of 1.15, while deaths hit a record high of 1.6 million, resulting in a population drop of 919,237—Japan’s largest ever.
