[Beattrice Akeyo @BeattriceAkeyo]

@citizentvkenya @WaihigaMwaura Its better if this strike could even extend to next year. Imagine @VihigaN haven't been paid for 14 months and counting. Some contracted covid, no health insurance, no salary no justice. Si kaende tu.

To subject a person to 8months without pay, is mental
torture and inhuman and degrading treatment contrary to
section 7 of the Constitution.

@DCI_Kenya @MOH_Kenya @EACCKenya @HonUKenyatta @GovernorVihiga @VihigaN it is evident that the people of Vihiga will continue suffering as bellies and accounts fill with taxpayers money. A county that has failed to pay its new HCWs 8 months salary controls Covid expensively.

Is it fair to have frontline soldiers starving like the case in Vihiga where healthcare personnel haven't been paid 6months salary despite court orders

@GovernorVihiga $ @VihigaCountyGov when are you going to pay @VihigaN ? We are in very critical times when life of HCWs shouldn't be played ping pong with. Or atleast provide PPEs. @MOH_Kenya @drthuranira @YvonneOkwara @HonMoses_Kuria @SakajaJohnson @HassanAliJoho @MutahiKagweKE
