I finished my Capstone presentation for my School Library Media Certificate Friday! I also had an emergency appendicectomy Thursday morning. I guess I wanted make things a little interesting the last week of classes.
I finished writing my proposal for the Innovative Reading Grant. It’s the first time I have ever filled out a grant form and it was eye opening. There is alot of work put into writing a grant. I can see why that all some people are assigned to do for school systems. #fulltimejob
I enjoyed the 54th Georgia Conference on Children's Literature last Friday! I got to hear Karl Newson talk about how he became a writer. He even read his book that was the 2022 GCBA Picturebook Winner , "I Am A Tiger". I will definitely be back next year!
