Great fringe event by @M_Star_Online on what next post @Senedd elections.
Pleasure to be part of the panel for what was my first event as @TUCCymru President
Today we remember people who lost their lives, or were injured or made ill, simply by going to work.
We honour them with our words, but also our actions - by standing up for safe work, dignity at work, and the right of every worker to come home safe at the end of the day.
Heddiw yw Diwrnod Rhyngwladol Coffa Gweithwyr.
Today, on International Workers’ Memorial Day, we remember those who've lost their lives at work, or from work-related injury or illness.
And we resolve to fight for safe, healthy workplaces for all.

And so it begins - @CymruNAHT kicks off our first #Senedd2026 hustings at Cardiff bay with @Plaid_Cymru@WelshLabour and @Gwlad_Gwlad
Great to hear what they had to say on education, funding, ALN, behaviour and workforce - lots of interesting perspective shared
Bring it on ✊🏻
@TUCCymru joint fringe event @Plaid_Cymru on tackling the far right was a great event.
A clear focus on what we can all do to promote unity through the trade union movement @NEUCymru@pcs_union@UCUCymru
Busy day in Newport for @CymruNAHT as we lobby @Plaid_Cymru ahead of #Senedd26
Education speech was interesting from @cefincampbell
No vanity projects ✔️
Focus on the basics ✔️
How we’re going to resource it is an ongoing discussion…

The @WelshGovernment has just passed its budget.
Millions of consequential education funding still unaccounted for…schools will suffer and ultimately so will children.
We believe in fair and we intend to keep campaigning…

Listen to @LauraDoel speaking on @BBCRadioWales earlier today
We know that £329m was allocated to Wales by the UK government in so-called education consequentials but only £39m was allocated in core funding for schools in the original Budget proposal @NAHTnews#FairFundingNow
Highlights of @SeneddChildren when @lynne_neagle answered questions on missing education funding
Money allocated to schools is far less than the consequentials ✔️
Inflationary uplift is a real-terms cut ✔️
