Here’s a little throwback to some of my favorite memories while pursuing a journalism career in Northern California. I took a chance moving across the country several years ago, but I’ll never regret that I did! The growth, the stories, and the people made it all worth it.
Today, I officially signed my name in the roll of attorneys at the Appellate Division Second Department in Brooklyn. You can now call me, Laura Eng, Esquire!
5 years ago today, Butte County experienced the most devastating fire in the history of California. Today we join the community in remembering those who lost their lives in the Camp Fire and those who continue to rebuild. We won’t forget the sacrifices made and the lives changed.
I am incredibly proud to share that I passed the July 2023 New York State Bar Exam! Thank you to my mentors, family, friends, and the @StJohnsLaw community for your unwavering support.
Today I conducted my final deposition at @StJohnsLaw, surrounded by Professor Angelides, and my fellow future female attorneys. These hands-on, practical experiences truly make me excited about what my future holds as an advocate.
The kindness and support you gave me as a budding TV news reporter was invaluable to my start in the business (along with @rgoulston). Your dedication and passion have always been so clear in your storytelling. A true role model. Best of luck, @ChristineMNews!! 😄
I’m wrapping up my last full week reporting for #Boston25News 🥹, and, at least for now, trading FaceTime kisses for real bedtime smooches with these amazing little dudes. 💙💙💙
My partner and I decided to put on a little photo shoot featuring homemade vanilla macarons with Italian buttercream and latte art by me. Here are the results! 🥹❤️
So great to be together again as we celebrated the vibrant #StJohnsLaw community and honored @NewYorkStateAG@TishJames at our 2022 Diversity & Inclusion Gala https://t.co/3Nbb1Ylnsn
I’m so thrilled to have had the opportunity to introduce @StJohnsLaw’s 2022 Diversity Champion, the 67th Attorney General for the State of New York, Letitia James at the Diversity and Inclusion Gala last night in Tribeca. A true legal trailblazer.👏🏼
President Joe Biden formally nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, calling her a "proven consensus builder."
Jackson would replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer, for whom she once clerked. https://t.co/qMinCIo5fg
@bwoods94@StJohnsLaw Professor Chiu and Professor Castello gave my JCRED 2L journal staff the honor of being introduced to her last year. She was truly an inspiration and made a powerful impact on the field of immigration law.
Breaking News: Michelle Wu will be Boston's next mayor, breaking barriers as the first woman and the first person of color elected to the role. https://t.co/r6wVbFHdAC
So glad to be back on campus again for in-person learning at @StJohnsLaw. We hit the ground running this week with the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development boot camp, taught by Professor Chiu and Professor Castello! 📚
