Excited to share our work highlighting patient experiences of capsule endoscopy. Listening to patient voices is crucial in measuring what is important to patients about their experience, so meaningful changes can be made- watch this space for capsule PREM!

That’s how patients described capsule endoscopy in this first-of-its-kind FG study exploring lived experience.

Key findings:
🔹 VCE is acceptable — but patients face unmet information needs
🔹 Anxiety peaks around swallowing & passing the capsule
🔹 Results communication often unclear
🔹 Calls for a validated patient-reported experience measure (PREM)
