I created this Canva poster and used the Backward Design instructional design model to explain a 1st grade lesson in which students learn to state an opinion and supply reasons for the opinion. #325525Summer21
@KateyEdu I think this would be a great way to enhance the lesson because students will use higher order thinking skills to apply what they've learned, and they will have to consider the current event from different individuals' perspectives, which will absolutely help them in the future.
@Asacc94 I think this is a great way to help students understand character development! Since they are responding to an open-ended question, it will also foster creativity while they apply their reading comprehension in a brief writing activity. Great idea!
@Edlt525_325 Thank you for the idea! I hadn't considered that as a possibility, but that would be a much better option to ensure the children stay safe. We could keep the account set to private and each student could write their name at the end of their tweets.
Grade level: 2. Subject: Science. Activity: Students will create 4 tweets - one for each stage of the butterfly life cycle. Students will tweet from the egg's, larva's, pupa's, and butterfly's perspective and describe its journey through the life cycle. #325525Summer21
