@ClaireMax I was always really impressed with @elijahwood and @SeanAstin 's accents in LOTR. I was genuinely surprised when I heard Elijah's real voice for the first time and I was "What, he's American?!" I would never have guessed! And for Sean to actually do a regional accent...🤯

@appyjumpindaze @MissKinks @elliemidds @UniversityLeeds I suppose so! I'm not really that familiar with the US education system. But I have heard of places needing a 'good' pass for higher degrees. I always thought the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class degrees here were like the 'cum laude/magna cum laude' etc in the US.

@appyjumpindaze @MissKinks @elliemidds @UniversityLeeds So, you can have a First Class Honours degree, or just a First Class degree (without Honours). Admittedly it's been a long while since I was in uni, but for a degree to be awarded with Honours some of the final year has to be done at a higher level of study than a regular degree.

@appyjumpindaze @MissKinks @elliemidds @UniversityLeeds 2.1 and 2.2 aren't to do with a degree being an Honours degree or not. A 1 is a First Class, 2.1 and 2.2 are Second Class and a 3 is a Third Class. All depend on what final % grade you got. Any degree programme can be with Honours or without Honours, irrespective of final %.

@ClaireMax Sweet! I like this one of baby me and my dad (around 43 years ago now...) He too died just a few days before his birthday (April 10th, 5 days before he would've turned 74). Will be 13 years this year. Never truly goes away, does it? He would be proud of you, Claire 💕

@edgar_a_bitch I've never been sexually active (aroace), and they've done 2 TVMs (for irregular bleeding). First one I couldn't tolerate, then years later had one with penthrox that was okay. Still couldn't tolerate a speculum, though, even the 'virginal' one which was the smallest they had...

Here in London, and can confirm The Queue is definitely A Thing (though I have seen at least one person sitting in a camping chair). They do not appear to be permitted to sit on the actual benches, as only regular tourists seem to be doing that. Seems very calm. Great thread! 😂
