#pakdibookchatA4#PAKDIBookChat I will keep growing & striving to be awesome for this new generation of Ss. I want to make my classroom an environment where all students will be successful, relaxed, & love learning to improve & change their lives.
#pakdibookchat#PAKDIBookChat I think paper work is overwhelming us & we forget to be real. I want to be real. I also want out of my comfort zone & my quiet demeanor to serve my Ss. Pg.118 gives great ideas. I want to truly know my students & who they are
A3 #PAKDIBookChat KDI reminded me how important strong relationships are. Strong relationships can help change any dilemma. We have to work together. “Students can reach new heights when they’re relaxed and know you care.” Pg. 117
#pakdibookchat#PAKDIBookChat Keep track of things you need to improve on and explore ways to fix them, but remember to celebrate. Hard work and continued growth make a difference, but it will take time. I love you all!!!
#pakdibookchat#PAKDIBookChat Ts go out there & try your best to reach the lives of our Ss, community, & parents! We do make a difference! Even 1 student, parent, or community member at a time. Keep striving for the relationships that make an impact.
#pakdibookchatA2#PAKDIBookChat Ch 19 Head held high. We lose sight to test scores. Our job is to reach children & change lives. Children are the most important thing, not scores. We let test scores judge our worth.
A1 #PAKDIBookChat Ts trust in yourself! Dont always think you have to do fluff & glitter. Stay steady, strong. Keep it simple, consistent, & have strong systems in place. Ss need consistency & love.
@KidsDeserveIt Reading and talking with my coworkers about Kids deserve it helped me start leaving my comfort zone and trying things I wouldn't normally jump right into. Trying new small group rotations was my starting point.
@KidsDeserveIt Lately my biggest take away came from more meat less glitter. I feel like sometimes we may have some good ideas about more meat, but then we see some of the glitter and feel like we need to compete with all the glamour. Then we lose the meat and dont trust what we want to do.
