@HMRCcustomers Ah ok perfect thank you, so they would report someone to hmrc if they have sold 30+ items, but if it’s not over the £6k for personal possessions (no profit) then I don’t do anything.

@HMRCcustomers Personal items, things like my sons old baby clothes, old clothes I don’t wear any more just high street stuff. I sells thing for £1-2 each, may sell the off one for £3. I’m making a loss on every item, I don’t make a profit at all

@HMRCcustomers hi, can I ask about the selling 30 items and being reported to hmrc on Vinted. If I sell 30 items at £2 each, so this is £60 it’s not profit as it personal possessions. What happens when reported to hmrc, do you then get taxed on the £60?

@DunelmUK could you get in touch with me, after my husband collected a click and collect item, was given the wrong item and they was laid into by the manager and accused of stealing.

The person who served him even admitted that she had given him the wrong item by mistake…
