I need my bananas to overripen so I can make banana bread. Why? So I can use the banana bread to make French toast which I will then top with melted brie and maybe some candied nuts.
@G33kMom @tpwky@indfnsofplnts I don't know how I forgot about your poison plant books! I thought it was fascinating because I never would have thought such different species would be related. Apparently urushiol is anti-fungal and kills the eggs of bugs who deposit in them!
While listening to @tpwky and @indfnsofplnts today, I learned I react to poison ivy and my brother reacts to mangoes for the same reason, and that reason is that those two plants are somehow related to each other and to cashews. Nature is freaking WILD.
@tiakall It's a concern for when I make mine, for sure. But somehow the restaurant I got it from made it work! I'm thinking it may be more like a traditional bread than a normal banana bread. Experimentation is going to be required. For science!
@tiakall I had it on a business trip once, and it was amazing. I'm not sure I ever would have thought to use banana bread as a regular bread in that way.
@ElleOnWords I love my Panda Planner for keeping virtually everything straight. It's a physical deal, not digital, but they have free PDFs you can download to try out, and there are a lot of features that allows you to customize.
