A little life update: In January, I took a leap and took a new job on the Events Team w/ the Weinberg College @ Northwestern. The move has been such an amazing change for me, both professionally and personally. Take the leap, make the change. It will work out.

I’ve been using @cvspharmacy for years and every time I go I see how overworked the pharmacists are and feel I don’t get the care I need. After reading this article, I’m now switching to a different pharmacy. https://t.co/HwqbGODpeh
@metraUPW This update is actually incredibly helpful. I was debating about going to Elmhurst to catch one of those trains and now I won’t. Keep the updates coming!
@isMetraLate The part about more standing room was just too much. I’d like to see more cars so that you can actually sit down for your commute. But maybe that’s just too logical 🤷♀️
Best on-board Metra announcement ever: “Everyone, look outside. That’s snow. That’s what happens when you watch Christmas movies before Thanksgiving, so please stop!” 😂 Yep. Add Christmas music to that too. @OnTheMetra
@OnTheMetra would like to point out that this is the second Monday in a row that the @metraUPW has had significant morning delays. Seems when one thing goes wrong, the whole schedule goes up in flames...
Heading into May:
1) Don't beg anyone to stay.
2) Save space for people who matter.
3) Keep your circle small.
4) Accept what you cannot change.
5) Leave behind what isn't good for you.
6) Do more and expect less.
7) Give time for yourself and love yourself.
8) Regret nothing.
@stephbaiocchi@OnTheMetra@Metra Thank you! People seem to think I didn’t put my personal safety and that of my fellow passengers first but I actually did.
My name is Pete Buttigieg. They call me "Mayor Pete." I am a proud son of South Bend, Indiana, and I am running for president of the United States.

@Metra and you didn’t ask if I got a seat. Because I didn’t and I’m currently sitting in stairwell since this train was SRO with three more stops to go. @OnTheMetra
@metra handing out surveys on the @metraUPW #30 this morning. Surveys are great and I’ll gladly fill it out but how do you plan to use the data? And while you asked my scheduled departure time, you should have asked my actual departure time... @OnTheMetra
