@TLRailUK This is such a regular occurrence across the line. Is it a nationwide issue? If so, is government taking action to prevent this from happening?
People on waiting lists for joint replacement surgery in England are being left in pain due to arbitrary BMI thresholds set by Integrated Care Boards.
We are calling on ICBs to stop using these policies and base decisions on clinical need.
Across England, access to life-changing surgery is unfairly being decided by BMI, ignoring clinical guidelines.
We're calling for an end to #BMI threshold policies to ensure that people with #arthritis waiting in pain get access to treatment. Read more: https://t.co/BKa8Q6m1LF
@MaryCreagh_@wesstreeting You’re very lucky! 2 people I know have waited weeks to see the fracture liaison services. 1 told now waited too long so no point and referred to physio - 6 month waiting list! Other person went out of the Trust area to walk-in A&E after 10 days waiting!
@CoyModemKnight Thanks for that useful insight! Staff at Hatfield suspected the driver had overslept! Ok, in terms of not delaying my journey much but I use a mobility scooter dado had to get ramp access on/off trains at F Park. Just a bit more faff!
@PedanticMiss@implausibleblog Mine does. Previous & upcoming appts. At my GP surgery. Can see when test results are on too so can then fill in a form online to request a GP talks me through the results! But why they include full results when I’m not trained to read them. And order repeat prescriptions.
@implausibleblog And why does my own MyCare app have a different name, MyChart? But there’s nothing in it? Hospital told me to download it but previous letters not added. I understand it as NHS app is primary care (GP services) and MyChart is my specialist secondary services. But no integration
@Tanni_GT@Tanni_GT do you ever use the Jubilee line at Westminster? I noticed the other day it’s not actually level access. V small step up to train from platform. Front wheel of my scooter hit the train so had to get off & lift on. Bumped down when I got off too. Not great.
@bbcPoV I enjoyed The Night Manager. But some subtitles were illegible, sadly. White font on light backgrounds so some words weren’t visible due to lack of contrast. I speak some Spanish but not enough to understand it all. Please check accessibility of subtitles!
