What's this? Oh, nothing, really? Just the Met Police seemingly trying hard to manufacture evidence for a crime having been committed under the UK's new anti-protest laws by (checks notes) running after random passers-by to see if what they witnessed offended them in some way.
As GBN marks two years, here’s some good classic moments…
- Host not knowing the difference between a computer and a biological virus
- McCoy losing his patience with co-host
- “The Traditional Farm-Fresh Turkey Association, whatever that is”
- Interviewing Churchill

This little bird brought so many incredible friends into my life. My world would honestly look so very different if it hadn't been for Twitter. Farewell little birdie.
Today we say goodbye to this great blue bird

The logo was designed to be simple, balanced, and legible at very small sizes, almost like a lowercase "e", a 🧵
I so adore the V&A and appreciate all the volunteers that give their time. But today as I asked one of the volunteers the way to the members’ room, first she looked me up and down and said ‘you need to be a member’. Erm I am yes. I was then directed to the stairs for the third floor.
Me: There is a lift too, yes? How could I get to that please?
Her (looking visibly pained): Oh there is but walking is good for you and I am sure you can manage that (weirdly accompanied by a marching action)
I hope people understand how this is a very ableist attitude, and not all conditions are visible. And such sort of disapproval and judgement can be quite upsetting (and annoying).
All the negativity and depressing crap on this app it's soo great to see Bob Mortimer trending not for scandal but simply because thousands of people have today decided to talk about how fecking brilliant of a person he is.
As Sun columnist Rod Liddle is brought onto Newsnight to talk about Huw Edwards' alleged behaviour towards young people, here's a reminder of what he's written himself on the subject.
The Sun columnist Rod Liddle talking about Huw Edwards on Newsnight, but writing in The Spectator 2009 about how if he was a teacher he'd "sh*g the kids".
"The one thing stopping me from being a teacher was that I could not remotely conceive of not trying to shag the kids.
It seemed to me virtually impossible not to, and I was convinced that I'd be right in there fron Day One.
We're talking secondary school here by the way and even then I don't think I'd have dabbled much below Year 10..."

"Dr Nina Muirhead: ME Patient & Advocate in the UK"
I've heard Dr Muirhead say a lot of similar things before but still useful to have a doctor, particularly a consultant, saying them

I've got my PIP assessment in the morning. It's been hanging over me like a millstone since I had to return the form, in November.
Decades worth of medical evidence, and I still have to pull my soul out explaining why I'm worthy......
Then, a mere 6-8wks wait to see if some administrator decides if they're going to fuq with me again. And for what..... dystopia lite.....
Can you see how they grind the sick and disabled down into early graves?
I just want to eat and sleep properly again.....
Just been in to thank the team at @Liberton1b for all the care & support they gave my dad (& us!) during the last 5 months now he's moved into care. We have it on good authority teas, coffees & biscuits will go down a treat, we certainly hope so! #TomsTeam#thanksyounhs

Everyone mocks Americans who think they could fight a bear, or get a point off of Serena Williams, but 9% in a YouGov poll say that they could recreate *Michelangelo’s David* after looking at a picture of it.
