Except when hanging out with your buddy watching a little baseball. Or if you’re thirsty. The ro doesn’t spread when you’re thirsty.
Science! From a scientist!
Meanwhile, in Kentucky (part of America, last I checked), a woman who tested positive for #sarscov2 but has no symptoms and her husband (who doesn't even have the virus!) are under house arrest after refusing to self-quarantine.
Ankle bracelets and all.

3/ Virginia. New York. Oregon. South Dakota. All within days of each other. You didn’t hear about any of these deaths because the national media didn’t care about them - but they are far more common than #SARSCoV2 deaths in young adults have ever been.
2/ Or this winter, when a 28-year-old teacher in Connecticut and a second-grader in Pennsylvania died of the flu within days of each other and we closed schools forever?
1/ Remember that time in February 2018 when a 38-year-old teacher in Dallas and a 38-year-old teacher in Atlanta both died of the flu within days of each other and we shut schools forever?
No, we’re going to take away your freedoms with mandatory isolation and quarantine orders and contact tracing; insisting you wear a mask is just a test of your willingness to accept pseudoscience and an effort to panic you.
Three graphs from Sweden tell the entire story of #COVID19; deaths by day, positive tests by day, deaths by age. Remember: Sweden had NO lockdown. Deaths peaked in weeks and have declined ever since; no relationship of cases and deaths; nearly all deaths over 70, most over 80...
UNTIL THIS YEAR, WE HAD SPECIFIC, DETAILED, AND EVIDENCE-BASED RECOMMENDATIONS FOR WHAT TO DO - AND WHAT NOT TO DO - IN CASE OF RESPIRATORY VIRUS EPIDEMICS. WE HAVE THROWN THEM ALL OUT. IN FAVOR OF MEDIA-FED HYSTERIA.
What’s changed?
Not the science.
Accepting masks means saying, I give up, I just want my life back, or some piece of it, I will do what you say even if it makes no sense - or invades my privacy in ways I couldn’t have imagined in February.
The @Fairfieldu email is a perfect explanation of why we have to fight masks (which will also be required there). Masks are both a symbol and a marker for everything to come if we don’t stand up to pseudoscience and mandates over a virus that is a tiny risk to many of us...
O Canada! Canadian physicians - including Canada’s first chief public health officer - have just called for ending lockdowns permanently, even if outbreaks continue. “Adults need to go to work. Family and friends need to meet.” Read the letter yourself at https://t.co/AdDoFk8iZw.
1/ This smart 2006 paper discusses the uselessness of lockdowns, masks, and school closings during epidemics.
More shocking: the lead authors are @T_Inglesby@JenniferNuzzo (two leading members of Team Apocalypse).
What's changed?
Not the science.

Hard to know how representative pro teams are, but their PCR (active virus) test rates are coming in very high right now - more evidence that the real rates of infection dwarf the reported rates (which in turn suggests the hysteria around “spikes” is nearly meaningless).
Because there seems to be no end to what people will believe about #Covid and what we have to do to stop it. And there’s nothing more pseudo-scientific than human sacrifice to soothe a jealous god.
Even worse, did you know ~10,000,000 Americans have died since @RealDonaldTrump became President? And over 20,000,000 died when @barackobama was President! WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP DYING?!? THIS IS WRONG. WE MUST END DEATH. Or we can never celebrate anything ever again. Or go outside.
From a reader who has tracked daily Florida hospital/ICU bed data for months. I have checked it myself enough to vouch for it. Of note, since late May Florida has had NO overall decline in ICU/general hospital bed capacity. POSITIVE TESTS HAVE SPIKED. NOTHING ELSE. @johncassidy
So @who’s announcement today that people who are not symptomatic almost never spread #SARSCoV2 should end any debate about universal masking. IT IS USELESS. Except as a means of social control. No face diapers, not now, not ever.
Only the government could cause 1 million unemployed health care workers during a pandemic.
