@ConnectionsHope I expected certain people to be there who have not; and was so surprised when people I had not expected at all to even know my name much less care that my late husband died have stepped up. In ways I never imagined.
@miller_joanna Others around me have “forgotten,” as well, or don’t think before they speak; and yet I continue to struggle, which is why I started a blog to channel my own experiences and help help non-grievers better help grievers. https://t.co/Ar3Lj65sTe if you’re interested!
@miller_joanna That is horrible & speaks to the unintended ignorance of people who’ve never experienced true loss. I am so sorry that you are going through that in an already stressful time. I see you. And I see your pain.
@ConnectionsHope And I see what you’re saying in that your husband couldn’t wait to be with you until old age. But my husband said I got lotta years left honey. And then he died. It’s still horrible.
@ConnectionsHope I feel your pain. My husband had a terminal illness but we had no idea he was terminal, terminal if that makes sense. We had a similar conversation the night before he died. I think my husband knew he was in his last few days although I had no idea. The conversation was so final.
The #grief journey is horrible on the body PLUS the mind. A never-ending cycle of constant pressure/aches. Nearly one year in, and no clue if I'm moving in the "right" direction or not! #widows#widowers#lifeafterloss#adrenomyeloneuropathy

@RoyalCaribbean Not sure where...maybe Bahamas or off Cozumel? Not sure. But I know it was taken in 2017 on my late husband and I’s honeymoon. Also, I’m crying now. Anyway enjoy!
