Chief Afe Babalola(SAN) is 95yrs old while Dele Farotimi is 56yrs old.
If Chief Afe allows this to slide and he goes to meet his ancestors without clearing his name, he would be remembered for what Dele wrote about him. Dele also properly timed his release to intentionally tarnish the image of the sage making it obvious he wanted to land a heavy blow on the image of the sage before the man leaves us.
If this is the last case Chief will fight before leaving this earth, he would pursue it to a logical end. He would most likely throw everything he has in the case. At least he has been able to position the defamation case as being criminal in nature.
I hope Dele has enough evidence to backup all those weighty allegations he published and distributed all over the world. If not, the petition written by Chief Afe Babalola (SAN) has been carefully written and each word and their measured impact is very intentional. Man has carefully brought into the light the impact of Dele's actions against the reputation of not only the Justices of the Supreme Court, but the Supreme Court itself.
Matter yen lo'far o
So Iβve gotten lots of tags and mentions regarding this videos and Hereβs my take on the matter; firstly, thatβs a Major General youβre seeing in the scene, we civilians have no idea what it entails to be a General in the Nigerian Army (heβs not God o, meaning heβs human too and bound to make errors). Iβm sure most of us havenβt come across a General or even opportune to see a convoy or military vehicle with stars in front park by the roadside (if you have, please indicate).
But let me tell you this, for a General to drop from his vehicle to confront a civilian, omo, means the civilian has really offended o. Not taking sides, but I wish we could also look at it from this perspective.
All the same, It doesnβt give them the right to ass@ult civilians the way they did but itβs just in our human nature (omo, if dem bash your car you sef go vex o). Iβve always supported and try to gain admiration for the military because of their sacrifices for our nation and without their effort, the current security challenges weβre facing would have been worst than this.
But then itβs always in our nature to c@stigate first without listening to the other partyβs side of the story, weβre first to throw stones and shout when they commit humane offenses.
Letβs wait for investigation, Iβm sure @HQNigerianArmy will say something soon.
Your pastors have heavily armed bodyguards for their own personal security. But they sell you stickers to put on your car and house doors for security.
You know why they do it???
They know you are incurably stupid and you are incapable to use your brain to see the foolishness.
