Quick reminder that the US Congress is 73% male and that’s the lowest it’s ever been, in case you want 1 small contributing glimpse as to why Roe hasn’t been treated w/ the urgency it deserved for ~50 years. (And why our politics are so gross towards women & LGBT+ people overall)
Sure, how about legislation that would run names through a database and see if they have any violent offenses (DV, assault, battery, etc.) or any involuntary commitments before letting a person buy a gun. That way, people with anger and MH issues can't harm themselves or others.
During President Carter’s time in the White House, he installed solar panels in 1979.
Ronald Reagan subsequently removed Carter’s solar panels during a renovation project in 1986.
@Wondermoon__ I use a virtual notepad app for windows.
Make is the length of my screen, and width of about two icons.
Then I list four categories: Hero's Journey (my tasks); Team Quests (team tasks); Side adventures (non-vital tasks); & NPC Story Arcs (other projects in my office).
@Wondermoon__ I found a tumblr post a while back saying labeling tasks, especially if you're a nerd, like this makes it more interesting. I tried it, and honestly, it works. Likely because I don't lose the list and actually have it written down. But I'm going to say it's because of the names.
@Wondermoon__ Then under each category I have bulleted lists of the various tasks. But all the same format: - Due date; Name of tasks; who it's to or who I'm expecting it from.
I recently added a "Town Squire" category (things I need to discuss with my supervisor during our 1:1)
Hey this goes out to the lawyers who prepped for and passed the Bar Exam while working 40 hours a week -- How'd you do it? I'm re-taking the exam in July. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks!
