"Get out of the bucket!"

Number 1 thing I try to get young athletes to do is “compete”
There is a difference between “trying to win” and “competing”.
For a competitor, losing can be more valuable than winning…losing is fuel ⛽️ for the fire 🔥
For a guy that is just trying to win, losing is failure
They don’t put rings on smooth hands…
Failure, adversity, and setbacks are what led to our ultimate success this year. Perfection is a myth…it’s all about the process.
When things get tough, hold people MORE accountable. Be the Man In The Arena.
KP secures the “Triple Crown”…

Suffolk County Championship for each season!

Good kids who work hard, special stuff!
the knicks are not a bunch of dogs. they are hyenas. they pick fights with bigger scarier animals, paint their faces with blood, and laugh maniacally while doing it.
I love this.
The gym is a sacred spot. Failing happens every practice.
If you compete, push yourself…failing happens…a lot.
It’s necessary for growth.
If you are around people you trust, you’re not worried about “being cool”, you’re worried about not giving your best!
This. 👏
This is the blueprint for having successful public HS program year in and year out.
The collective competitiveness… CONSISTENTLY….as a program.
Relentless competitors>talent
If you can put 5 dudes on the court like that…you got a chance. Every game.
