Jackson struggled because of the institutional limitations of ISU, which is why Cael left in the first place.

@FarmerLogic @wrestlingnomad Cyler (his brother) was the only guy he took the first year. He could’ve likely brought Varner (who left Ames for SC immediately after graduating) and Zabriskie but didn’t. Reader, Fanthorpe, Mueller stayed in Ames as well. The idea ISU was gutted is laughable.
