The Promised Messiah (as) said: "It was disclosed to me through Divine revelation a few years later that the Messiah that had been promised from the earliest time to this nation and that the last (The Mahdi − Guided Leader) who was destined to appear after the deterioration of Islam, and who was to be granted guidance direct from God, and who was to provide once again the spiritual nourishment, as had been pre-ordained, and about whom glad tidings had also been given by the Holy Prophet himself 1300 years ago, is none other than me."
Addressing the Peace Symposium UK, His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba) expressed deep concern over the growing injustices and conflicts spreading across the world.
His Holiness questioned why world leaders are pushing humanity towards destruction instead of allowing ordinary people to build peaceful and secure lives for their families, reminding mankind that today’s wars threaten not only the present generation but also the future of humanity itself.

Opening his address at the Peace Symposium UK, His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba) noted that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has been hosting this event for more than two decades, and that some people quite reasonably ask what benefit it has brought and whether it has led to any meaningful change in society.
With regards to this, His Holiness stated that true peace can only be established when mankind turns towards justice, compassion, and the worship of Allah.

While @JustinTrudeau was Prime Minister 🇨🇦, he acknowledged the contributions of Ahmadis to Canada's growth & success.
But do any #Pakistani leaders today have the same courage to show love and support for the millions of #Ahmadis living in Pakistan? 🇵🇰

86 Ahmadis were martyred in Lahore while offering Friday prayers in the house of Allah.
They came to worship in peace, but hatred took their lives.
We remember their sacrifice. We pray for justice. #LahoreAttack
The unpretentious and simple life of the Imam of this age, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, who was sent by God Almighty as the spiritual reflection of the Holy Prophet (sa) to reform the people of the latter days, bears witness to the fact that humility always prevails.
Prophet Ahmad (as) showed through his personal examples that by humbling oneself for the sake of Allah the Almighty, one can attain divine rewards and blessings beyond the scope of human imagination. A clear manifestation of this phenomenon can be found in the following incident:
“Maulvi Abu Saeed Muhammad Husain of Batala, who had at one time been my [Prophet Ahmad’s] fellow student, came back to Batala after completing his religious studies. The people of Batala looked askance at him on account of some of his notions and ideas.
“One person was very insistent that my humble self should debate a controversial point with Maulvi Muhammad Husain. Yielding to his insistence, I accompanied this man in the evening to the home of Maulvi Muhammad Husain and found him in the company of his father in the mosque. To summarise, upon hearing the explanation of the respected Maulavi [Muhammad Husain], this humblest one concluded that there was nothing unfair and objectionable in his statement; consequently, the debate with him was abandoned for the sake of Allah.
“At night, the Benevolent God addressed me in His revelation and discourse in reference to the same abandonment of the debate and said:
تيرا خدا تيرے اس فعل سے راضي ہوا اور وہ تجھے بہت برکت دے گا۔ يہاں تک کہ بادشاہ تيرے کپڑوں سے برکت ڈھونڈيں گے۔
“‘Your God is well-pleased with what you have done, and He will bless you greatly, so much so that kings will seek blessings from your garments.’ Thereafter, those kings, riding upon horses, were shown in a state of vision.
“Since the attitude of humility and lowliness was adopted purely for the sake of God and His Messenger, Allah, the Perfect Benefactor, did not desire to leave it unrewarded. فتدبّروا و تفکّروا [‘So reflect and ponder’].”
Referring to the above incident, Hazrat Maulvi Abdur Rahim Dard (ra) says:
“The party who had brought him [i.e., Prophet Ahmad] was naturally upset and felt humiliated. So, he became an object of ridicule to both parties.
“But such was Ahmad’s love of truth and honesty that he did not care for anything that friends or foes might say. He looked on things as they were in themselves, not through the dim spectacles of vulgar estimation. He suffered every humility and indignity with a cheerful countenance.
“It is not every debater that can behave in like manner. People generally seek popular applause. It is only a man of sterling character who has the courage to speak the truth, even when it is unpopular. So, God was immensely pleased with Ahmad (as). The strength of character that he showed in such circumstances did great credit to him.”

🌙 Prayers for Ahmadis in Pakistan🌙
“We shall offer silent prayer. In our prayers, first and foremost, pray for those Ahmadis in Pakistan who, because of the cruel laws, are making sacrifices of life and property.”
Beloved Huzoor (aba) drew attention to the painful reality faced by Ahmadis in Pakistan, explaining that they are unable to openly worship, offer Eid prayers, or even perform the sacrifice of animals within their own homes.
“Even if they are performing the sacrifice inside the house, this too is considered a very major crime for them.”
Despite these hardships and restrictions, Ahmadis in Pakistan continue to remain steadfast in faith and sacrifice.

Eid-ul-Adha is not about flesh or blood reaching Allah, but about attaining true taqwa through the recognition, love and fear of God Almighty.
Hazrat Amirul Momineen (aa) reminded us that the real sacrifice is the sacrifice of the nafs — reforming ourselves, elevating our worship, morals and fulfilling the rights of others.
Only sacrifices made with sincerity, righteousness and complete devotion to Allah are truly accepted.
