@Pilavpowa I just heard about your dog getting cancer. Before you do anything, look into having your dog do a fast for a while. I couldn't respond to your stream, but hopefully you'll read this. God bless, I'll be praying for you.
@RisingDisciples@Dxnzxl99 A person can trust in Christ and still be disobedient. That happens to all of us. That's interesting you quoted Matthew 7. The will of the Father is to believe, while those that are "obedient" are the one's left out.
@RisingDisciples@Dxnzxl99 Have you lived your life good enough to be called a Christian? Also, by what law do you condemn a person who puts their trust in Jesus Christ?
@thechurchsplit Imagine adding soft piano music while the dude in the background is yapping about the Demiurge. "God does everything for his glory" instead of the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit wanting to actually expand on their love for each other.
@Soteriology101@Fletch1171 I’m more curious to what the layman thought about doctrines than I am about the expert’s opinions. Most churches aren’t. It’s easier to copy/paste a council into the “What we believe” section of their website than it is to wrestle with scripture.
@samtripoli The same Bible people are buying says all nations will be destroyed when Jesus returns, including those in the West. It's the gospel of the Kingdom, not the kingdoms of this world.
@Soteriology101 It's been over 2,000 years since Christ rose from the dead and people are squabbling over a ladder being used as an object lesson. I think it's time to talk about what the New Testament church is and what it isn't. Something isn't right. Honest people are having conversations.
@noedenelsewhere 1 Samuel 8 all over again. The shocking part isn't knowing this sentiment exists in so-called church leadership, rather, it's how brazen they are becoming.
@Be_Like_JChrist It's one thing to sin and worry about not becoming a good disciple. It's on a whole other level to sin and worry about not being saved. The 10 Commandments condemns while the laws of Christ allows us to grow in discipleship. Thanks to Jesus we have a superior covenant.
