@elle_aussie @FreedomAus80100 Guess we'll never know, as even experienced players can miss a penalty. I recall being the 1st to step up for a penalty at a soccer finals. In front of a noisy crowd it was the most intense pressure ever, that no amount of training can prepare you for. I feel sorry for the lad.

@biblip @FreedomAus80100 Older players are usually more composed in handling extreme pressure than younger ones. You'd understand if you've ever had to step up to take a penalty at competition-level soccer or hockey.
