@s_sedwards@elizableu@mtaibbi@mayemusk 1. You’re saying the “CORPORATION should pay because it’s STOCKHOLDERS profited” - If stockholders profited then shouldn’t stockholders pay?
2. Twitter has no stockholders. It’s a private company
3. Twitter is just a transmission platform. They don’t profit on each tweet.
@KellyMc1970 @kimkelleyismyf1 @BrandonDrey@mtaibbi You need to work on your sentence structure (and writing in general) bro. If you didn’t say you were Canadian, I wouldn’t have mentioned anything, but I had to read your comment like 5x and still don’t understand it… Really hope you’re from a French-speaking part of Canada
@richupachu@MoonlitMonkey69@Snowden@elonmusk Matter of principles. Start going down that road and where does it end? In parts of Iran & China you need to pass facial recognition checkpoints every time you go into a grocery store, or to enter your own apartment. They use this data to send police to areas of congregation, etc
@TheMansionSoulD@MoonlitMonkey69@Snowden@elonmusk Matters where you live, that may be true in the US (for now). In many countries there’s required facial recognition checkpoints every time you walk into a grocery store or enter your own apartment… All in the name of our “Safety”
@Speak22Freely@belgac@MoonlitMonkey69@Snowden@elonmusk You’re joking, right?
The odds of the scenario you describe - 1:15,000,000
The odds of you being tracked against your will and it never benefiting you - 0.99999995:1
Stop trading away our freedoms for a false sense of “Protection”
@Snowden Any alternative recommendations? I hear https://t.co/G6Lpc9OkBe is a great alternative with good UI and no oversight on their users (free choice of RPC)
@JeremiahDJohns Regardless of anyone’s views of Erin Musk or his actions; he’s objectively very intelligent. I think a lot of his actions are strategic. Now to what end? We may never know as we don’t see the full picture from his perspective. But if nothing else, engagement has gone up recently
@Snowden Govt’s have been building this “Cash is bad/only used for criminal activities” narrative for years in preparation of their imminent, authoritarian CBDC programmable money implementations. The narrative is growing louder and realizing; strategically planned to build acceptance
@MokuboG@Snowden@4functions Take it a step further. Your money is now PROGRAMMABLE, and THEY are the programmers… You’re an ex-convict? You can’t spend more than $100/mo on ammunition. You’re not employed? You can only spend $250/wk on food. Extrapolate, extrapolate…
