Most accounts on Twitter are not real people, they are a part of large bot armies that companies are using to push agendas. Since it's so easy to ragebait someone, it almost always works
@vidyamadhavan2 Google, the tech monolith, who has contracts with the Israeli army, has no influence... I didn't expect any better tbh, most indians are in dire need of a reeducation on global conflicts, including their own ones
Stanford has always been a place where opposing view points have been shared with respect. As a grad student, I have myself participated in protests that I deeply resonated with.
However, staging walk out during commencement honestly is just deep embarrassment to the institution! I would have changed my stance if the commencement speaker was the Prime Minister of Israel or the President of USA - people with direct influence and involvement in the ongoing conflict.
But to bring in the Israel - Palestine issue as the center stage during a commencement address by a Tech CEO shows that emotions are blurring the lines of relevance. Stanford, you could do better !
If the protests were about job losses due to AI and income inequality that could pose to society etc etc, one could still rationalise the walk out on this day!
The fake outrage around the new God of War game is proof that anti-woke rhetoric has ruined gaming. "Woke" was never the problem; it's the fake outrage around "woke" and the fact that these grifters bastardized "woke" to create this imaginary boogieman. It's all a grift.
This beautiful diamond is currently on display in the Tower of London
That is where it will stay.
Mamdani may be looting New Yorkers, but he will have no joy in Britain.
Unless he retracts this insult to our King, as Home Secretary I would ban him from entering Britain.

We in Britain must remember what the Romans taught us: if you want peace, prepare for war.

I don't fully agree with this, I just think nobody in public office can commend someone calling people parasites in any capacity. Feel like any slip is extremized to the maximum possible extent and then its suddenly Zionist agenda
Same playbook. Try to play neutral, get bashed to oblivion, suddenly make a very protected statement about Israel/Palestine on a much smaller platform, get away with it
I had the privilege to share my solidarity with the Palestinian people in a meeting with Ambassadors Riyad Mansour and Majed Bamya, and Senior Advisor Sahar Salem at the Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations.
The ongoing Israeli genocide has destroyed or damaged every single school in Gaza. Places where children gathered, asked questions, made friends and imagined their futures no longer exist.
The scale of destruction demands accountability and justice. And Israel is still blocking books and school supplies from entering Gaza, alongside other essential items like water, food and medicine โ threatening the survival of an entire generation.
Malala Fund will continue to support organisations responding to the crisis. We stand with local leaders working to help girls learn, rebuild their communities and shape their own futures.
